Two women share the same space, in another time. As we contemplate the gaze of both, a question arises: why is one of them probably the most well-known Portuguese woman in the world, while the other has been almost erased from our history and collective memory? In this film-poem, I summon an image in an attempt to decipher the enigmatic gaze of filmmaker Bárbara Virgínia.
