剧情介绍：This photographic documentary shows how four Lebanese trans women express their love—the love of a mother who cares unconditionally, listens, and gives their heart. Together, the personal stories of Em Abed, Jamal Abdo, Antonella, and Mama Jad form a tender portrait of trans history in Lebanon, which they love with a mother’s devotion. 　　Treat Me Like Your Mother is a photographic scrapbook, with images from the archive of photographer and director Mohamad Abdouni showing vulnerable individuals growing up and maturing into confident adults. In between the photos, we see home videos of mothers hugging, dancing, and smiling, accompanied by the voices of the four women on the soundtrack. They talk about the Raouche Rocks—a queer haven on the coast of Beirut—remember trans friends, and reflect on lives lived amid war, chaos, and uncertainty. 　　Abdouni’s film uncovers fragments from a forgotten past and explores the social integration of the trans community in Beirut over the past four decades. It stands as a heartfelt tribute to the enduring resilience of community, friendship, and motherhood in the face of adversity.
