简介：胡鶯月，27 年前從越南飄洋嫁來臺灣，在臺從事通譯工作達 23 年，至少協助超過上千位移工、新住民進行通譯。而警察則是最基層的執法者，處理的案件繁雜，早期沒有完善的通譯制度，遇到涉外案件，使得司法機關偵辦品質受到影響。 本片呈現通譯人員，如何協助司法機關在場輔佐傳譯，是一個保護語言弱勢且實踐司法程序正義的工作。
